3. Use the Title Analysis Tool To Jump Start Your Writing

​Before I switch tabs to the content optimizer, I like to come up with a title for my blog.

That way, I can stay more focused on what I’m writing about. To do that, stay on the SEO Report and scroll down (about half-way).

The Title Analysis is an easy way to create a clickable blog post title.

Start by choosing words from the topic list provided, and enter them into the Title Grader field.

You should use at least four words from the list of KW’s Google Likes and try to stick within 47 to 53 characters to get the highest grade. 

​4. Use the Content Optimizer and Write More Blog Posts

Content optimization where you’ll write your blog post draft.

I like to build my blog post here until I have a well written piece of content. Once I’ve achieved the highest grade and hit the word count (or higher), I move what I’ve written over to WordPress.

Once my blog post draft is in WordPress, I finish the post by adding my internal links, external links, affiliate links, and optimized images (including a featured image).

I choose my category, reread the post to make sure it flows and has no errors, and publish.

The content optimizer offers some basic formatting tools and a complete list of the best keywords to use within your post. 

Writing Tip:​

I like to go through the list and choose any of the high traffic keywords that would make great headings or subheadings.

Then I just make a list of all the related keywords to add beneath those headings.

Doing this helps me to keep everything organized before I dive into the meat of the content. It doesn’t take a lot of time to do this and it’s a great way to develop the bones of the blog post.

For example, if “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints” was in the keyword list, I’d use that in an H2 or H3 heading. Then I’d pick out the high-traffic keywords from the list that might fall under that category. 

Those keywords might be things like:

• members of the church of Jesus Christ
• Lds church
• United States
• great people
• Salt Lake City

​With that information, I could easily write a paragraph or two. Before you know it, you’ve got an entire blog post written!

15. Learn When Your Optimized Post Will Rank on Google

​When choosing the keyword phrases you want to use, you can get an idea of how long it will take the blog post to rank in Google. RankIQ provides the following information:

​If you’re a new blogger with a low domain authority, look for keyword phrases that will rank Utra Fast or Fast. If you’re Domain Authority is 30+, choose Fast, and if you have a Domain Authority over 40, you can safely choose Average.
