I’ve got you covered if you’re looking for a free printable days of the week calendar. They’ll arrive as pdf files that you can then print out or upload to a digital note-taking app like Goodnotes.
If you found this blog post, I’m guessing that you prefer printable calendars over digital files, and that’s okay! In fact, I decided to create my free printable weekly calendar templates with a simple white background. Why waste a bunch of expensive ink when you don’t have to, right?
Don’t worry; they won’t be boring and colorless. They will, however, be ready to print on 8.5 inch x 11 inch paper. That way you don’t have to spend extra money getting a professional printer to do the job. I’ve used the A4 standard sizing so that, in case you want different sizes, you’ll be able to print them at scale.

Making The Most of Printable Templates or Digital Planners
Any good planner, whether printable or digital, should have the basics along with a series of customized pages specifically designed for your needs. For example, if your looking for a planner for teaching purposes, make sure it includes everything you need. For example:
- Sections for time management
- Days of the week activities
- Weekly plans sections
- A calendar page (or several)
- Blank calendars with a place to add the month name (monthly calendars)
- A to-do list (or several)
- Checklists
- Free printable days of the week flashcards
- Weekly schedule templates
- Calendar lesson plan
Other Types of Specialized Planners
There are many different reasons why people seek out digital and printable planners. Some people, like those with ADHD, love using them to help keep track of appointments, keep a contact list, refer to checkists, and so on. They’re great to use for weekly planning, goal setting, budget keeping and time management.
Some of the most popular types of planners people are looking for now include the following:
- Free days of the week printable worksheet
- Free printable weekly calendars for teachers
- Any free printable activity suitable for young students (like coloring pages)
- Digital planners for writers (great for freelancers who do independent work)
- Free ADHD digital planners
- Digital planners for help with executive function disorders
- Planners for anxiety management
These are just a few of the many types of planners there are. You can take any basic digital (or printable planner) and customize it for your own needs. That said, having a specialized planner makes it even easier.

Habit tracking is a great way to understand how we spend our time on any given day. Some of the daily habits we incorporate in our lives might be better used more productively.
It could also go the other way! After jotting down the activities you do in a day, you may realize you need more time for self-care and relaxation. The routine and habit tracking pages I’ve included have a space to add the date. They also have sections for daily tasks, goals, and reflections.
You’ll also have sections to include your morning, afternoon, and nighttime routines.

What’s Not Included in Your Free Printable Days of The Week Calendar
Don’t worry, I’ve included all the important stuff you need (as noted above). However, I wanted to keep your calendar as print-friendly as possible. For that reason, you won’t find bright neon colors, a tropical color background print, or any excessive background colors for that matter.
Of course, anything just black-and-white is a little boring, so you will find some color. For the most part, however, I’ve tried to keep the background white. That should help save on ink.
What To Expect From Your Printed Version
The colors that are on the planner may vary slightly in color from what you see on the screen. There could be a very slight variation depending on your printer and the screen resolution of your computer.
